Donna Marie Saucier

November 18, 1962 - September 5, 2021

Donna Marie Saucier, 58, Orlando, FL, passed away September 5, 2021 at home of natural causes. Born November 18, 1962 in Newfane, NY to Irene Elizabeth (Keenan) and Donald Kenneth Seefeldt. Donna was the youngest of four siblings, James Kenneth, David Edward and identical twin sister Deborah Lynn (Fusco). Raised in Ransomville, NY, Donna was an active member of the 4H club, excelled in sports earning letters in track, cross-country, basketball and volleyball for Wilson High School (1980) and graduated as an honors student. Donna also spent 6 years as a counselor at Camp Kenan in Barker, NY. Donna graduated from Clarkson University with a B.S. Electrical & Computer Engineering (1984) where she continued her volleyball career and became a Life Member of the Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity. Donna was married to her college sweetheart Roy Kenneth Saucier Jr., of Canton, NY, on June 2, 1984. Together they raised two children, daughter Jennifer Lynne, and son Robert Kenneth. Donna started her career with Texas Instruments in Dallas where she worked on early versions of the Global Positioning System (GPS). Donna later moved on to TRW and then Lockheed Martin where she raised from the engineering to executive ranks. She had assignments in New London, CT; Syracuse, NY; Akron, OH; and Orlando, FL. Donna was recognized throughout her career for her engineering capability, ability to brings teams together, commitment to developing others, and driving diversity and inclusion throughout the organization. Donna retired from Lockheed Martin in April 2018 after 22 years of service. In retirement Donna continued her life long joys of interacting with her family, boating/floating at Lake Norman, golfing, needle crafts, cooking, puzzles, card games and so much more. Donna is survived by Roy Saucier Jr, loving husband of 37 years, daughter Jennifer Saucier of Stanley, NC (Chance Stephens), son Robert Saucier of Wooster, OH (Melissa Huffman); Grand-fur-babies Snickers, Sadie, Darcy, Barron, Blaze and Bolt; Mother, Irene Seefeldt of Lockport, NY; Siblings James Seefeldt (Brenda) of Lockport, NY, David Seefeldt (Dawn) of Winterhaven, FL and twin sister Deborah Fusco (Gene) of Berthoud, CO.; and many brother/sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Donna is preceded in death by Father Don Seefeldt (2-17-2019), in-laws Roy Saucier Sr (4-3-2000) and Marie Saucier (6-27-2009) and loyal companion, dog, Lola Saucier (10-28-2020). The family will celebrate Donna’s life privately.
