Katherine Hall: A Life Well Lived 10/25/1920 to 4/23/2019 Kay Hall, beloved mother of Chris Hall, David Hall Alice Boemler and Bernard Hall passed away quietly at home in her sleep. She is resting in the arms of her savior and is reunited with the loved that have gone on before her to a heavenly eternity. She leaves behind three children, ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren along with the many people whose lives she touched. Born in Tonning, Germany, she emigrated with her parents and brother to America in 1929 at nine years of age. Her sister was born shortly thereafter. Kay grew up on western farmlands during the Great Depression where the abundance of food saved them from the ravages that beset the industrial world at the time. She fell in love with her lifelong soul-mate, Leo "Duke" Hall, and was wed to him in 1942. Duke served in the Army Air Crops during the war. Following the war, they moved to Helena, Montana. Later, they lived in Columbus, Ohio and Miami, Florida. A memorial service will be scheduled in the future at a time and place where her family and friends can gather to pay their respect and reminisce about all the joy and wonderful adventures that typified her life.
